Foundry Works Solar & Energy Storage Center

The Foundry Works Solar & Energy Storage Center is a proposed 200-megawatt solar power generation and 200 megawatt energy storage facility located in Lake County, Indiana. Solar energy is critical to meeting growing demand with reliable, affordable energy, while strengthening local economies, creating jobs, securing American energy independence, and delivering cost savings for consumers. Energy storage technology allows us to store solar energy and deploy it when the power grid needs it most — improving reliability and protecting against price spikes.
